RUBISADT is committed to contributing to the challenge of ensuring that young African girls benefit from access to quality training. This takes the form of innovative teaching methods and tools available to them, so that they are eligible to pursue and succeed in brilliant university studies locally or internationally, and can carry out relevant projects in the fields of their choice.
Our programs focus on two main areas: RUFEEF (Rubisadt pour la Formation et l’Éducation des Experts Féminins) training and ORPAM (Oeuvres Rubisadt pour la Promotion des Arts et Métiers) arts and crafts promotion.
On the African continent, where all modern didactic tools are lacking, the aim is to provide secondary-school girls with additional training to boost learning efficiency and understanding of scientific concepts, with visual illustrations, computer simulations, practical laboratory work, a library, media library, reading room and scientific and cultural events.
Educational tutoring in science and technology is complemented by a holistic approach to training that encourages reasoning rather than the reproduction of stupidly memorized concepts, and initiative and decision-making rather than consumerism. Rubisadt focuses on supporting young girls committed to building their lives, because they represent our human capital and our future. Not only do we offer cutting-edge scientific and technological education, but the school emphasizes diverse skills, the ability of their minds to think and act autonomously on the essentials of their development. Our system is based on teamwork, multidisciplinarity, self-confidence and self-respect, camaraderie and life values.
Build the intellect of young girls, characterized by a solid scientific culture, and introduce them to ethics and environmental protection. Health, so that it has a positive impact on the life of communities in Cameroon and beyond. Educate her against all forms of violence against African women, with no regard for their health (forced marriages; slavery and semi-slavery through traditional devotion to the husband’s exclusivity; rape; excision; girl soldiers).
Help young girls acquire and develop the self-confidence they need to reject social determinism, which is contrary to human dignity. Teach her to defend her ideas in an exchange. Encourage her to relate what she learns at school to practical life. Encourage her to raise ethical and moral standards; develop her communication skills within the family and society, so that she becomes a vector of change; forge in her a group spirit, including a leadership development component.
