Accepted into Wellesley College in the United States as an African Scholarship Program of American Universities (ASPAU) scholar, Dr. Tobo Lobe found herself among esteemed company, including future luminaries like Hillary Clinton, class of ’69. Her time at Wellesley College provided her with a rich academic experience and laid the foundation for her future endeavors.

Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Tobo Lobe pursued advanced education at Paris South University (Orsay), where she completed the rigorous LMD cycle with honors in organic chemistry. Her dedication to her field led her to undertake research at the prestigious Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), culminating in the award of a Ph.D. in organic chemistry.

In both her personal and professional life, Dr. Tobo Lobe has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence. She married Samuel-Henri Lobé, a civil aeronautics engineer, and together they raised two accomplished children: Ida-Anne, a hematologist, and Olivier, a talented singer and image producer.

Throughout her career, Dr. Tobo Lobe has held diverse roles, including Senior Lecturer at Yaounde University, Director of a fertilizer laboratory firm in Douala, and representative of the Cameroonian government at international forums. However, it was her entrepreneurial spirit that ultimately led her to establish her own consultancy firm, ECCA (Expertise Conseil Consultation Analyse).

As the founder of ECCA, Dr. Tobo Lobe has served a diverse clientele, including the African Union, the private sector, and the United Nations. Her expertise as a legal court expert, coupled with her deep understanding of African issues, has made her a sought-after advisor on matters ranging from entrepreneurship to education and Women in Development.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Tobo Lobe is deeply passionate about music and sports. She remains an avid researcher, continually challenging herself to expand her knowledge and understanding of the world around her.

In 1999, Dr. Tobo Lobe embarked on yet another ambitious venture, founding the Rubisadt Foundation. Dedicated to providing supplementary high-quality and holistic training to young talented high school African girls, with a particular emphasis on science and technology, the foundation stands as a testament to Dr. Tobo Lobe’s enduring commitment to empowering the next generation of African leaders.
